Product Characteristics of Zn-Al-Mg Steel
Zn-Al-Mg coatingsteel has better corrosion resistance. The increase of Al and Mg content in a certain range makes the corrosion resistance of Zn - Al-Mg coating steel sheet increase several times higher than that of Gl.
With low friction coefficient and stable friction characteristics, it is very favorable for punching. It can reduce the amount of wear on the coating, thereby reducing the part's pulling defects.
The Zn-Al-Mg coating steel has good welding performance. The addition of magnesium can reduce the spatter of the weld attachment in the laser welding process and improve the welding performance.

What is the difference between ZAM steel and Galvalume (GL) steel?
ZAM (Zn-Al-Mg) steel adds magnesium to the classic zinc-aluminum coating. The Mg content refines the coating structure and promotes a self-healing protective layer at cut edges, giving significantly better corrosion resistance than conventional Galvalume, especially in humid, salty or high-condensation environments.
What ZM coating weights does MESCO supply?
MESCO supplies ZM coating from 80 g/m² up to 600 g/m² on both sides, covering grades such as DX51D+ZM, DX53D+ZM, S350GD+ZM and S550GD+ZM. High coating weight ZM310/ZM350/ZM450 is available for heavy-duty structural applications.
Can ZAM steel be cut, bent, welded or roll-formed?
Yes. ZAM steel offers good formability, low friction for stamping and drawing, and good weldability. MESCO also provides deep processing including slitting, cutting, drilling, round pipe and square pipe production to your drawings.
What are the MOQ and delivery time?
